Back on 'it'

After losing the plot as I do occasionally I am now officially back on 'it'.... What 'it' is I'm not entirely sure but I feel on form again.

I've been back out running again after a couple of weeks off whilst I was down in the doldrums and am looking forward to a good ride on my new bike this week if the weather holds out, if not I'll be out on the 'winter bike'.

And I'm focused, I've always been a dreamer coming up with some hair-brained idea every now and then.  But this time I have decided to actually follow one through.  I'm currently researching my best idea, looking for suppliers and checking out the competition in my chosen area.  I'm keeping what it is under wraps for now, all will be revealed at a suitable time.  It will be a part time venture initially, running alongside my day job.  If it takes off then great, if not I've lost nothing.  Nothing ventured nothing gained as Del Boy would say, not so sure about this time next year though.

71/365 - Mission aborted

I'm very conscious of the fact that a dull blog every day doesn't make a good read.  I also have a need to slip off the radar occasionally and maintain radio silence so as not to create trouble for myself, now is such a time.

For those 2 reasons I am aborting my year long blog mission.  I will post regularly, just not daily.  And I will tell those tails from my past that I had promised.

I'm off facebook for the time being and keeping relatively quiet on twitter.  I'll be back when I feel better.

70/365

Seriously lacking in motivation to do anything at the moment, couldn't be arsed to run again, couldn't be bothered to mow the lawn this afternoon, couldn't even be bothered to write this tonight.

I have a list of stuff to write about on dull days, anecdotes of years gone by from my ordinary life.  You guessed it, tonight's not the night for any of those.  I need sleep so that tomorrow I might actually be inclined to do something worthwhile after work.

Many more days like this and I may have to rethink this daily blog challenge, 'went to work, did nothing all afternoon and then went to bed' doesn't really make for an exciting read.

69/365

The day started very positive and upbeat, I was on an easy route looking forward to an 8 mile run when I got home, even though it was raining again I was full of the proverbial joys.

Then my lorry broke down!  An hour and a half later I was on my way again, but my enthusiasm and time advantage had been drained whilst sat waiting watching the world go by.  By the time I got home I couldn't be arsed to go out, so I'll save that pleasure for tomorrow.

I see the FA have appointed Roy someone or another as England manager for four years, I'll make my predictions now.... IF England qualify for the next world cup they will flop and Roy will depart, I give him a maximum of 27 months in the job!  You heard it here first.

2 seconds of fame...
