Didn't really know what I was expecting from Brighton, I didn't find it overcrowded by the gay community as I was led to believe. The Lanes were nice, especially if jewelery shops are your thing. The pavilion and its grounds are very nice too.
Mrs H booked us on a tour of the old police cells at the town hall, which was very informative and interesting, our guide, an ex local bobby gave an excellent insight into the history of the place. So much so that Mrs H was nudging me to make a donation to the museum as we left.
We finished the day off with a short drive to Worthing and fish and chips by the sea.
