Started my training plan today, first session was a 30 minute easy run, so I guessed that my 3.6 mile circuit would be about right and I wasn't far off at 31 minutes.  Already it fells better by doing a shorter run, I think I'd plateaued by constantly running 5 or 6 miles, my legs were aching and my times were getting slower.  Looking forward to my next session in two days, although this one won't be so easy, 40 minutes tempo run!



I know I promised better things for today, but apart form the run I've not been up to much.  One thing I have done is I've started looking at dates and venues of next years marathons, I'd like to do one of the bigger better known ones if possible but not all have confirmed dates for 2013 yet.
